1st - Its not airbone (well if a swine family still uses hand to eat then congratulations)
2nd-The country isnt populated,places are not packed and filled with swines (unless an asshole sneeze or cough in front of you then its necessary to held up you chainsaw and start your cooking)
3rd-Its not deadly,although there are no cures yet but the virus wont kill a person in days or weeks.
Few reason why civilians and swines in brunei must panic!
1st-Their own hygiene (if you got time to care about useless stuff why not clean up your own enviroment)
2nd-Their medical facilities (the well known Rest In Peace After Surgery)
Did the goverment take action on this case?Did they set hygiene rate on food outlets and public transport?Did a company /schools measures daily temperatures of their staff/students?

Its obvious isn't it. Brudirect is just making their own headlines, so people would get scared and re visit their website. Its a scare tactics by Ignatius Stephens so they can keep selling advertisement slots on the Brudirect. Small slot can cost up to 500. You can check with ur borneo bulletin version, the headlines by Ignatius Stephens are not even published in Borneo bulletin. Just wondering, isn't Swine Flu a type of Influenza? And isn't influenza transmitted through air?
so doesn't that mean Swine Flue is also airborne?
Another thing, The term "The country isn't populated" implies that there's no-one living in the country at all. What I think it should really say is that "The country is not as populated as oohhh let's say Singapore". 'Cause I believe Brunei has a population of at least nearly 400,000. Not impressive but the country is indeed populated. Unless you were going for that sarcastic tone in your post, then you can disregard this paragraph completely.
With Swine Flue not being deadly, it's true...if it was transmitted to an average healthy person. But to those with a history of terminal or chronic illness' (for example liver failure or pneumonia) Swine flu is pretty life threatening as it can cause further complications. But this can also be said for normal flu.
With the state of hygiene, I agree with you on this one.
But what's wrong with Brunei's medical facilities? "The well known Rest in Peace After Surgery" is hardly a reasonable answer. please elaborate on this.
